You are on call at the hospital and the nurse asks you
to decipher your colleague's orders which consist of
an unreadable sequence of tasks. You must correctly
identify the tasks and the correct order in which they
should be performed.
How to Play
The object: to correctly guess the Doctors' Orders in no more than six tries
The Doctors' Orders: a sequence of four tasks randomly selected by the computer. Any one
of the six possible tasks displayed on the colored buttons could be
part of the Doctors' Orders. A task may appear more than once in the Doctors' Orders. An example would
be MRI DNR MRI CBC. To win, you must get this combination exactly in
the right order.
The board: the bottom row of colored buttons represent the six different
tasks of which any four in any combination can be used to guess the
Doctors' Orders. The six rows above this represent the six attempts you
will be permitted to do this. The space to the right hand side of each
row will display your clues.
The clues: the WHITE number indicates how many of the tasks in
your guess are correct but in the wrong position or place. The BLACK
number indicates how many of the tasks in your guess are correct AND
in the right place. In other words, to win, the WHITE number must be 0
and the BLACK number must be 4.
The play: Press any sequence of colored buttons to fill in your
guess. When you are happy with your guess, press Enter Guess and your
clues will appear. You have six tries. Good luck.
